BlueSuitMom.com launches on Mother's Day 2000

Pompano Beach, FL (May 1)-- BlueSuitMom.com, Inc. will launch the first woman's Website exclusively designed to meet the needs of executive working mothers on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14, 2000. The site found at www.bluesuitmom.com will feature expert advice, meal planning tools, career management resources and work and family balance tips and the first online Family Calendar loaded with information important to working mothers BlueSuitMom.com will also be the first woman's site to offer online virtual classes taught by experts in areas ranging from parenting to career management.

According to recent studies, there are approximately 16 million career-committed mothers, defined as those mothers who work by choice rather than out of necessity. Almost half of these career-committed moms hold managerial positions within their organizations and, according to IBM research; this pool of professionals has grown by over 20% from 1980 to 1999, faster than their male counterparts. Their average individual income is over $75,000 a year and they make over 60% of the household buying decisions. Yet there are currently no Websites exclusively designed to address the specific work and family challenges created by being a senior level executive working mother.

BlueSuitMom.com is the brainchild of former AutoNation executive, Maria Bailey who herself is a mother of four preschoolers. "Having been a BlueSuitMom myself, I know firsthand that the challenges of executive mothers are unique," says Bailey, "We intend to deliver senior level working moms, information and tools that will help them maintain the balance between work and family. I personally believe you can do it all with a little help."

Rather than featuring the traditional work and family articles like job-sharing and saving your Starbuck's coffee money for the vacation fund, BlueSuitMom.com will address issues closer to the realities of an executive mother.

Bailey and her team have assembled a group of experts and professionals who will provide content in areas pertinent to executive mothers. Among the topics featured: "Tips for maintaining your relationship with your family while traveling for business," "Negotiating your salary package," "Career transition," "After-work answers to the what's for dinner question" and "From power lunches to Power Rangers."

Among the experts supporting BlueSuitMom.com are: Dr. Roni Liederman, Associate Dean, Family and School Center at Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Kathleen Wells, Director of Coaches that Care, Jorj Morgan, CEO of Worth It, Inc., Joni Hyde, Fitness Expert and Founder of WorkoutsForWomen.com and Aaron Larsen, Executive Director of the National Institute for Distant Relationship Building.

"The idea to serve women who want to have it all and have managed to obtain success in their careers is long over due," comments Dr. Roni Leiderman, a featured expert on BlueSuitMom.com. "Working mothers will be amazed at how many of the issues they've internalized are experienced by others who seem to have it all together."

Mothers who visit BlueSuitMom.com will also be able to interact with experts and peers in virtual classrooms via password restricted phone lines. The classes which are both free and fee-based will allow busy mothers to take courses on subjects such as discipline, career interviews, entertaining your boss for dinner, and work and life balance from the convenience of their desks. BlueSuitMom.com is the first woman's site to offer such a unique opportunity to women.

As part of serving the time-restricted needs of executive mothers, BlueSuitMom.com has partnered with Meals.com to provide online meal planning, recipe files and recipe search.

BlueSuitMom.com, Inc. also provides seminars, training sessions and Intranet content licensing to corporations who strive to retain their valuable female executives who also happen to be mothers.
