Question: How can I find time in the morning to sit down with the kids for breakfast? - Jessica B.

Answer: Recent studies show that a nutritious breakfast should be a top priority for parents. Kids who eat a regular breakfast have been shown to get higher grades, and are less likely to be depressed, anxious, fidgety, or irritable at school.

Since mornings always prove to be hectic for working parents, plan for breakfast the night before. Set out cereal bowls, spoons, milk and juice glasses, fruit and cereal boxes on the table. You'll be more likely to have a sit-down breakfast instead of grabbing a pop tart if the table is already set.
