Business and Love Compatibility by Gloria Stone ARIES - March 21 - April 20 Aries is the sign of the warrior or pioneer and is the first sign of the zodiac. This is sign of the go-getter and is known to be energetic, enthusiastic, impulsive, positive, enterprising and always lives in the mind. IN LOVE: They are compatible with other fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius, but when it comes to love and marriage, other fire signs as well as a Pisces partner is the best for them. An Aries will seek out a Gemini and a Libra for sexual encounters. An Aries has a need to be constantly stroked and told just how wonderful that they are. They can be considered selfish or aloof in the relationship department and anyone that marries or cohabits with an Aries MUST have a life of their own or their life will revolve around the Aries, man or woman. Do not expect a compromise. IN BUSINESS: In a business relationship, they should search out other fire signs (Leo - Sagittarius) or a Capricorn. Capricorn will keep them well grounded in a business venture and will be the ones to manage the business while the Aries will market it. They are born leaders and will work well with partners that let them feel as if they are in charge. Their forte is in sales and marketing of a business venture and you will often find them as the owner or Chairman of the Board. She loves to defy authority and can be considered a rebel. This personality will eventually give her the label, pioneer. TAURUS - April 21 - May 21 Taurus is ruled by the Bull and is the sign of the builder or producer. They can be very stubborn, steadfast, systematic, kindhearted, persevering as well as have musical talents. IN LOVE: For love and marriage, they should seek out Cancers, Virgos or Capricorns. They have a strong need to please and be with other Earth signs. Once they are married, succeeding and providing for their families become their main drive. If you are married to a Taurus, you must keep the romantic fires burning, but they are worth it. Taurus' have a great sexual appetite and can be drawn to other Taurus, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius as well as Pisces in the sex department. They are romantics. IN BUSINESS: For business partners, they work well with Sagittarius or Leos, since they are the practical ones and Sag and Leo are the creative ones, making a good match. A Taurus in business will be strong and tolerant, but let us not forget the fact that the Bull rules them and you cannot try their patience too far. A Capricorn, ruled by the goat, can expect to lock horns with a Taurus if they are business partners and A Virgo can find their strength intolerable. The best partner for business will be a Cancer, Virgo, Sagittarius or Leo. GEMINI - May 22 - June 20 The Twin is the sign of the artist or inventor since they have extremely active minds. They are restless, versatile, clever, exuberant, expressive, artists and communicators. Since they are such changeable characters, a mate has to be extremely intelligent and keep them mentally stimulated at all times. IN LOVE: If you are a fixed sign, unfortunately once the interest has worn off, a Gemini will move on to conquer another. For love and marriage a Gemini should seek out another Gemini, Libra (another air sign) or a Leo, who keeps everyone interested. And if the Sagittarius is overly sexy or sensual, the Gemini will have a secret love affair for many years. They are able to go from a deep and lasting love to a superficial, sexual one in a matter of minutes. If a Gemini wants a great sex partner, a Sagittarius will certainly fill the position, and will keep the Gemini around a long time. Will they be faithful to you???? That is the question of the ages. IN BUSINESS: For business relationships, Gemini's do well with a Leo, Libra or an Aquarius. A true Virgo will keep the flighty Gemini grounded but a Taurus will tire of the duality quickly and call it quits. An Aries will not compete with the big ego that a Gemini has. Libras and Aquarians are good business associates since they understand the air sign and will allow for them. Highly intelligent and creative, the Gemini will be an asset to a business that is fast moving and with lots of activity. Do not expect them to sit at a desk all day and be constructive. CANCER - June 21 - July 22 Cancers are the sign of the Crab and just as the sea creature, they are tenacious, patient, sensitive, sympathetic and very changeable. Once a Cancer attaches themselves, they will not let go. IN LOVE: So once they are married or in a committed relationship, they will endure almost anything before resorting to divorce or separation. The best partner for love and marriage are a Taurus, which is a fixed sign and will endure much in a relationship, as well as a Scorpio and Pisces, other water signs. However, I suggest that the Scorpio not be so obsessive since the Cancer is an outgoing personality and talks to everyone. A Scorpio can be very controlling and possessive. Over a period of time, this could be overwhelming to a Cancer. IN BUSINESS: For a business relationship, they should hook up with a Taurus (worker), Virgo (organized) or a Scorpio (persistent). Finances fascinate a Cancer therefore an association where a Cancer can take care of the financial end of the business or meet with bankers will be a business arrangement made in heaven. A Cancer has an interesting idea of economy and is extremely security conscious. They will turn your IRA or pension fund into six figures quickly. Male and female Cancers believe in saving for a rainy day. So, be sure and have one Cancer in the establishment. LEO - July 23 - August 23 The mighty Lion is the sign of kings and presidents. They have an uncanny talent to lead and people love to follow no matter what they do. Bill Clinton is a perfect example of a Leo. They are proud, generous, trusting, energetic, domineering, authoritative and very warmhearted. IN LOVE: They make great mates for partners who understand and allow for their roaming ways. In love and marriage their best picks are other fire signs, Aries and Sagittarius as well as a Gemini. Geminis and Leos are really suited if they can get past the selfish part of themselves and understand the true meaning of giving. Actually work and marriage could be quite compatible for these signs. It goes for the same in the sex department, for sex is just part of a Leo's personality. Being a Lion, they must be kept well nourished with romance and affection. IN BUSINESS: In business partnerships, Leos should partner with the other fire signs, Aries, Sagittarius as well as that marvelous air sign, Gemini. Leos and Geminis spell nothing but success as long as they have an earth sign around to keep them grounded. This could be a mate or secretary. They have a great need to be acknowledged and rewarded for deeds well done and in business their prowess is that of a Lion. With an Aries, competition will be great, but at the same time, financially rewarding. They make an ideal head of an enterprise. VIRGO - August 24 - September 23 Virgos are the sign of the craftsman and critic. The characteristics of a Virgo are exact, methodical, industrious, discriminating, intelligent and chaste. IN LOVE: Virgos are the most likely sign of the zodiac to stay single in their lives or to not remarry after a divorce. The sign for a Virgo is the virgin and this is a true description. They will do the very best in love and marriage with the two other earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn, for they are truly alike. The other signs of the zodiac are just too much for Virgos to handle and they really don't want to be bothered. Love does not come easily to a Virgo for they have a tendency to play the critic and keep a tight reign on the finances. IN BUSINESS: Business is a different matter. They love to work so compatible relationships in business are not hard to form. Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Scorpio and Capricorn all make excellent partners to a Virgo, as long as they can organize the business. They will tend to stay in the background and keep the business in perfect order while the fire signs are out selling and the air signs are negotiating. They do not procrastinate and will keep a Gemini or Libra on a schedule, whether they like it or not. They will be the first one in and the last to leave the office. LIBRA - September 24 - October 23 Libras are the scales of the zodiac, always balancing. They are the sign of the statesman or manager. Their characteristics are restless, intelligent, versatile and talkative. IN LOVE: In love and marriage, there must be perfect harmony or a Libra will end up with an illness or affliction. They do not fare well with infidelity, addictions or obsessive behaviors. Marriage is forever with a Libra and divorce could easily make them totally depressed and unable to overcome the emotions that come with that situation. They get along well with Geminis and Aquarians. Sexually, they need a mate that is a romantic. Foreplay is the most important part of sex and they do not do well in the "quickie" area. IN BUSINESS: Business partners should be strong and disciplined such as a Taurus, Virgo or Aquarius. Libras should never be in business with a Sagittarius or Aries. The fire is just too much for them. Taurens and Virgos are probably the best business partners for this sign since earth is grounded and can keep the restless air sign in balance. They will charm you into a business deal and are absolutely the best when in front of an audience. They should stay away from Geminis since both signs are scattered and would not accomplish much in the business arena. SCORPIO - October 24 - November 22 Scorpio, the Scorpion, sign of the governor or inspector. Highly critical and jealous of their mates, this sign can run many mates away before finding the right one. IN LOVE: Love and marriage do not mean the same to a Scorpio that it does to, let's say, a Libra or the ever-quite Aquarius. Their best mate of all the signs is a Pisces. Pisces, who are the dreamers of the astrology wheel, is best equipped to handle the intensity of the Scorpio. Scorpios just love sex and any partner that intrigues them will be given the chance to see the Scorpio's prowess. In love, they tend to be intense and exclusive, prone to sudden attachments and equally sudden separations. They must stay away from Aries and Geminis, for sure. IN BUSINESS: Business, on the other hand, is right down a Scorpion's alley. They do well with other Scorpios, Capricorns and Aquarius, in the business arena, as long as the other signs give them the room to be creative and to be in charge. Otherwise, there will be problems. Remember that the Scorpion is the symbol of the Scorpio and they do know how to sting. The sensitive signs, Pisces, Leo, Cancers and Gemini must stay out of a business arrangement with Scorpios and leave way to a Taurus, Capricorn, Aquarians or other Scorpios. SAGITTARIUS - November 23 - December 21 The Archer. This is the sign of the counselor and the sage. This sign is candid, restless, impatient, curious, impulsive, and loves nature and sports. This is what can draw a Sagittarius to you in a moment's notice. IN LOVE: They will marry the man or woman who will watch the Super Bowl with them, go on a weekend of hiking and backpacking in some remote mountainous place. The ideal mate of love and marriage is a Leo. They not only do well in marriage, but are able to work with them well, also. Sagittarians do best with the two other fire signs, Aries and Leos. They tolerate the other signs of the zodiac and, like Geminis, have tremendous egos that constantly need stroking. They can please any sign, sexually but not mentally. IN BUSINESS: It is the same for business. They work well alone and eventually other partners will find their impulsive, impatient nature too much to bear and they just walk away. The only good business partners for them are an Aries or Leo, other fire signs. A female Sagittarius can be involved with a Taurus, if the Taurus lets her run things. Their need to be around people and outdoors is a must, therefore their position in a business must take them out of the office and to new places and people or it will not succeed. They do not make good employees. CAPRICORN - December 22 - January 20 Capricorn is the sign of the Goat. They make excellent priest, ambassadors and scientist. They are ambitious, diplomatic, persevering, reserved, and can be afflicted with deep depression. IN LOVE: A Capricorn is now always comfortable around the opposite sex and this can be the cause of late marriages or living a life alone. The severity of their life is not always something that a mate can contend with. Being a true loner, a Virgo will best understand a Capricorn and allow for his/her moods and depression. A successful union can be met with a Taurus, as long as the Taurus needs no romance in their life. Capricorns are NOT romantics. Love and marriage are, at times, alien to the Goats. They are excellent parents and reliable mates, at best. IN BUSINESS: However, business is a different story altogether. They make great business partners, with just about every sign because they are so ambitious and are workaholics, especially an Aquarius. The signs that are not compatible in the business arena are Aries, Libra, Sagittarius and Pisces. They, unlike the other earth signs, are the workers of the zodiac and have a strong desire to succeed. They will work long hours and sacrifice much in order to move up the ladder of success. They do love financial security and will work hard for it. AQUARIUS - January 21 - February 18 Aquarius is the visionary of the zodiac. It is represented by the Water Bearer and is the truth-seeker and scientist. They are honest, probing, amiable, humane, popular, broad-minded, kind and detached. IN LOVE: In the love and marriage department, an Aquarian will not likely pick a partner with a keen sexual appetite, like a Sagittarius, but one that has the traits of a good friend and parent. They do well with Geminis and Libras, since they are on the same wavelength. They make excellent friends and if you want a secret kept, tell it to an Aquarius. They love quiet music, romance, candles, soft lighting when it comes to making love, and that is what they do, make love. So if you want to seduce an Aquarius, bring them flowers, candy or take them to fancy restaurants. IN BUSINESS: People seek them out for business due to their honesty and kind manner. They are easy to work with and can see far into the future when it comes to trends. It is rare to find a sign that an Aquarius does not do well with in business. They have a flair for being a friend to all co-workers and you can usually find someone in their office asking for advice or just needing a shoulder to cry on. They will compliment a Taurus, since both are refined and love nice things. A Cancer will be an asset to this refined sign, as well as a Sagittarius. PISCES - February 19 - March 20 And last but certainly not least is Pisces, the sign of the poet and interpreter. Pisces are kind, retiring, gentle, sensitive, unlucky, moody and indecisive. They are the least known of the zodiac therefore they most always have difficulties in many areas of life. IN LOVE: Highly sensitive and moody, other signs never know what to say or do around a Pisces. Other water signs (Scorpio and Cancer) know them best and can tolerate them, whereas a fire sign (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) or an air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) cannot really deal with their running away from emotions that must be dealt with. They feel more at ease with Cancers, since the Crab is the mothering sign of the zodiac. They tend to be moody and this is something that an air sign cannot understand. They are not the most sexual of the zodiac. IN BUSINESS: As for business, they are better just working at a place rather than being in business. They do not like to make decisions or have too many responsibilities making a business partnership almost impossible, unless the other person is possibly a Scorpio. They have a lack of interest in worldly ambition and an uncaring attitude toward rank or power and this can mean that they seldom are able to succeed in making large amounts of money.
