Exercise of the Week

Whatís the very best way to tone your inner thighs? Plies!! A properly executed plie will yield stronger legs, will tone up the hard to target inner thigh area and at the same time will work the glutes.
Stand with feet apart approximately double your shoulder width, legs straight with your toes and knees pointed outward. Hold a weighted bar close to your body above your chest.
Throughout the move keep your abs pulled in tight. Be sure that when you lower yourself down that your knees donít extend past your toes. Perform this move 20 times in a smooth and controlled manner.
- Bend your knees, lowering your hips toward the floor, keeping buttocks tucked under and knees pressing back. You have gone far enough when you feel a stretch in the inner thighs.
- Press up through your heals back to the starting position.
